Ladies and gents, I present to you the coveted '96-97 Gryffindor Lions Quidditch Roster!
Captain & Seeker, Harry Potter Keeper, Ron Weasley Centre Chaser, Ginny Weasley Outside Chaser, Demelza Robins Outside Chaser, Yours Truly Blind Side Beater, Geoffrey Hooper Open Side Beater, Jack Sloper There you have it, Slytherin. Your asses handed to you on a platter, once again! Harry did beautifully hand-picking our team, and Merlin, did it feel amazing to be on the pitch...
On a completely random note, Fred sent me some amazing lollies in the post the other day. You only need to eat one, and it sends you away to a rather convincing daydream (a different dream with every new bite)! I swear, there's no limit to the twins' creativity.

... And we're back. I hate to say it, but there is something reassuring about these halls. Even without Fred. Classes have been uneventful. I don't know why the professors insist on giving us reviews on the previous year's lessons in N.E.W.T. level courses. It's absolutely ridiculous.
On a more cheery note, Emmalee was sorted into Gryffindor. I haven't heard the end of it. Mum and dad were pleased when they heard the news. I fancy they expect me to keep a closer eye on her, so if anything happens to Emma now, it's my head on the line. Brilliant, isn't it? Sorry, Em. I love you, but well, now how am I supposed to hide my jumpers from you?
I'm ready for Quidditch tryouts. I've been pestering Professor McGonagall for near 24-hours now, as I know Harry probably couldn't be bothered with my questions. She still hasn't leaked a single name to me. I wonder if there will be a big turnout on the pitch this year. Harry, you're going to have a full year ahead of you.

Godric, save us. Summer holiday is nearly spent...
I'm not going to lie, I'm sad to see it go. I haven't had near enough time with Fred. Of course, I couldn't pull him away from George during the summer rush. With so many students getting ready to go back to school, the few weeks before the year begins is crucial for sales. I suppose people like to stock up in advance... You can't exactly go about asking your mum for that sorta thing!
Nope, definitely not ready to go back, even if it is my last year. Emma's ready, though. She's been driving me mad with all her questions about what it's like. I keep telling her to wait just a bit longer and find out for herself, but there really is no calming overly-eager little sisters.
At least there's one thing I can look forward to when I get back to the castle: Quidditch.
How about you lot? Anything exciting & new I should be prepared for before meeting up with you at King's Cross?
